It’s just announced that Kirsten has joined ‘Two Faces of January.’ Marking the directorial debut of “Drive” writer Hossein Amini, the movie is based the book by famed novelist Patricia Highsmith (“The Talented Mr. Ripley”), and follows a con artist (Mortensen) who is forced to flee Greece with his wife (Dunst) after accidentally (or not) killing a police officer. An American tutor (Isaac) agrees to help him out, and all three hightail it Istanbul.
Production on the film is slated to begin on October 1st with the Amini teasing to Variety that the film is a “story about love dying: What it’s like to fall out of love with someone you still feel a certain loyalty to.”
