“On The Road” Officially Starts Filming in Montreal

On The Road, the new movie based on the classic novel by Jack Kerouac and starring Twilight’s K risten Stewart, officially began filming in Montreal today.

Kristen, along with her co-stars Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley has already been spotted enjoying the nightlife in Montreal. Last week, Kristen was seen at Sharx Pool Bar & Bowling last week. She stepped out to see a concert on Saturday night too, before filming officially got underway.

On The Road will also mean a return to Montreal for Kirsten Dunst, who  wrapped Upside Down in the city earlier this summer. Kirsten was also frequently spotted out and about last spring, so chances are she’ll be taking advantage of the city life in Montreal once again.

The movie is expected to shoot in Quebec for 45 days. And signs for the location have already been spotted.
