A drug addict accused of breaking into “Spider-Man” star Kirsten Dunst’s penthouse suite pleaded guilty Thursday and was sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison.
Jarrod Beinerman, 33, of Brooklyn, was arrested on burglary and larceny charges after a security camera caught him inside Manhattan’s SoHo Grand Hotel on Aug. 9, 2007.
He was allowed to plead guilty to the lesser charge of attempted burglary.
Police said thieves took cash, cameras, an iPod, wallets and purse worth more than $10,000 from Dunst’s suite.
Defense lawyer Mitchell Elman said Beinerman “admitted being in the hotel.” He said Beinerman faces sentencing next week on an unrelated drug charge in Brooklyn.
Dunst was in town shooting scenes for her upcoming film “How to Lose Friends.”
